Saada's Mission

Saada as an organisation and a charity believes that any form of development can only take place once the potential of the people is truly unlocked. Saada believes in investing directly into people and the institutions that better people with the aim being to create a culture of innovation where people strive to find solutions to their own problems.

Getting There

In order for Saada to be able to fulfil its main aims and objectives Saada will aim to do the following:

  • To provide relief and assistance to the people of Somalia who are the victims of wars, natural disasters and droughts.
  • To provide assistance to help with the prevention of sicknesses, and also in the protection of good health by providing medical facilities, equipments and services.
  • To provide assistance to orphans, vulnerable and abandoned children, widow’s and people in an economically disadvantaged position such as those of the pastoralist community.
  • To develop the capacity and skills of the members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities in Somalia in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to then participate more fully in society.
  • The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by first advancing education and raising awareness of equality and diversity and then by promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds.

Saada's Targeted Areas

  • To raise money and awareness for humanitarian aid and relief.
  • To support and assist the development of vital Health and Education infrastructure primarily in Somalia.
  • To provide provision educational advancement, training, advice and information to people in Somalia.
  • To provide water management and sanitation workshops in Somalia.
  • To provide safe areas and support Orphans, abandoned children, widows and all vulnerable groups in society in Somalia.
  • To provide Livestock replacement loans and also campaign against deforestation in Somalia.
  • To support all grassroots initiatives aimed at eradicating poverty.
  • To provide assistance to and to help support Refugees (Displaced people by civil war) in Somalia.
  • To hold HIV awareness workshops within in Somalia.
  • To provide sport and recreation opportunities within Somalia.
